Overview
MediaRelay lets you select photos, videos, audio, and documents on your device and transfer them to another device through a local browser link or QR code on the same Wi-Fi network.
MediaRelay is designed for local transfers. We do not receive, store, collect, sell, or share your files or personal data.
Data Collection
MediaRelay does not collect personal data from the app.
- We do not use advertising SDKs.
- We do not use tracking.
- We do not create user accounts.
- We do not upload your files to our servers.
- We do not store your photos, videos, audio, or documents on our servers.
- We do not sell or share your personal data.
Files and Media
MediaRelay only works with files you choose to select or receive. Selected files may be copied into the app’s local storage so they can be made available for transfer through the local browser page.
These files remain on your device and are not sent to Believe N Create Lab or any developer-operated server. You can clear selected files inside the app.
Photos and Videos
MediaRelay may ask for access to your photo library so you can select photos and videos for transfer. If you enable browser uploads and choose to save received media to your photo library, MediaRelay may also ask for permission to save received photos and videos.
Photo and video access is used only for the features you choose to use inside the app.
Local Network
MediaRelay uses your local Wi-Fi network to create a local transfer page that can be opened in a browser on another device connected to the same network.
The local browser page may allow another device on the same Wi-Fi network to download selected files or upload files back to your device when uploads are enabled. MediaRelay does not route these transfers through our servers.
Browser Uploads
MediaRelay may offer an option to receive files from another device through the local browser page. Received files are saved locally on your device, either inside the app’s folder or to your photo library if you choose that destination for supported media.
Passcode Protection
MediaRelay may offer optional passcode protection for the local browser page. The passcode is stored on your device and is used to help protect local access to the transfer page.
Your passcode is not sent to Believe N Create Lab.
Subscriptions and Purchases
MediaRelay may offer optional subscriptions or purchases through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple.
We do not receive your payment card details.
Third-Party Services
MediaRelay does not use third-party advertising or tracking services.
Children’s Privacy
MediaRelay is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not include social features, messaging, public profiles, or user-generated content feeds.
Security Notes
MediaRelay transfers files over your local Wi-Fi network. Only use the app on networks you trust. If you enable uploads or share the transfer link, other devices on the same network may be able to access the local transfer page while the app is running.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
